Worldtimer Product Film

The GOAL was to create a visual campaign that connected the Worldtimer watch to idyllic notions of travel. In today’s developed world, one of the main luxuries is to be able to travel freely. We believed that by associating this watch with that luxury, the watch would have an added significance in the customers mind unconsciously.

But what was the appropriate way to show a love of travel for the Frederique Constant brand?

There are endless ways to showcase wanderlust in a video and we wanted to make sure that our approach was sophisticated and not juvenile (as many travel films can be).

We experimented with many ideas but eventually came to what you see in the film above. See below for other ideas we played with.

Initial Ideas

Concept Images

Originally we had the idea to contrast the 60's office with this modern museum. This location was based off of a new museum that Frederique Constant had just opened in Plan Les Ouates a month prior to starting this project.

We thought that it would be cool to reference that space in this film. However we ultimately decided against using this interior space because it was inhibiting creative potential. By forcing part of the film to exist in this real space meant that it could only look as interesting as it did in real life. Our goal here was to create the best film we could - not to show off the museum. Secondly, no one would know the reference except us, the client and enthusiasts.

Storyboards

We create storyboards mainly for internal use only. There were many explorations with how we could create an experience that would accomplish all the goals we had set out to achieve.
